Cannabinoids are under constant study, due to their recent knowledge of their therapeutic properties. They have anti-inflammatory properties, and are a new alternative to treat pain and other symptoms that do not respond to classic drug treatment. New lines of research point to a possible antitumor effect, which would open a new form of therapy for cancerous conditions. That is why they are promising in a wide range of pathological entities, however, there is still a long way to go for their acceptance and use in routine clinical practice, since at the moment they are not considered first-line drugs in the treatment of pain chronic, if not third and fourth line in the treatment of neuropathic pain.en
