dc.description.abstract | Throughout the years we are still noticing inequalities between men and women in the Canary Islands and these inequalities affect many girls from a very early age. "Women: past, present and future" tries to fight so that all women in the Canary Islands feel that they have representation and that their work is recognized. We must give a voice to those who do not have it to help them stand out. That is why this project is created where you can meet and interact with remarkable women of the past and present of the Canary Islands. With this interactive game you will be able to travel around the Canary Islands while getting to know many women who have excelled in their areas of work, such as Maria Isabel Rodriguez, Gran Canarian goalkeeper of Real Madrid Football Club, or the award-winning Antonia San Juan, best known for her role in "La que se avecina" as Estela Reynolds. Many people know the lives and careers of many men in Spain and the Canary Islands, so why doesn't the same thing happen with important women? It is time for this to change. | en |
