Situación socioeconómica de los migrantes españoles en Londres: análisis de las principales variables.

Abstract

Con el presente proyecto de investigación se pretende analizar el fenómeno demográfico de la emigración española, poniendo especial atención en el destino de estos hacia Europa y especialmente hacia el Reino Unido. Analizando la situación socioeconómica a través de un trabajo cualitativo y cuantitativo, con la importancia de la estructura social generadora de posibles ejes de desigualdad, predominante en el contexto, los factores económicos relacionados con las condiciones laborales, así como el sexo y los ingresos económicos con respecto al fenómeno que se analiza. Por otro lado, y siguiendo con la línea anterior, se pretende estudiar el concepto de la emigración española a nivel político e histórico, así como desde el contexto de las crisis económicas, específicamente con las posibles consecuencias en el auge de la emigración que trajo consigo la crisis financiera de 2008, o lo que es lo mismo, sin desvincular el fenómeno migratorio de su contexto histórico y social para una comprensión holística del objeto de estudio.

The present research project aims to analyze the demographic phenomenon of Spanish emigration, paying special attention to the destination to Europe and especially to the United Kingdom. Factors that influence decision-making, with the importance of the social structure that generates possible axes of inequality, predominant in the context, economic factors related to working conditions, as well as gender and economic income with respect to the phenomenon. On the other hand, and continuing with the previous line, it is intended to study the concept of Spanish emigration at a political and historical level, as well as from the context of economic crises, specifically with the possible consequences in the emigration boom that it brought with it. the financial crisis of 2008, or what is the same, without detaching the migratory phenomenon from its historical and social context for a holistic understanding of the object ofstudy.
