Educación de personas adultas en tiempos de pandemia

Abstract

La Educación para Adultos y Adultas se ha ocupado de ofrecer una nueva oportunidad a un gran número de personas que, por una u otra razón, no pudieron terminar sus estudios de forma tradicional. Este trabajo de investigación indaga sobre qué formación posee el profesorado en perspectiva de género en la Educación para Adultos y Adultas e incide especialmente en el papel que tuvieron las mujeres durante el confinamiento domiciliario a causa COVID-19, sabiendo si hubo o no una brecha educativa a nivel de género durante este periodo y hasta qué punto la brecha digital y la falta de relaciones sociales dentro de una misma aula afectó en este proceso. Una vez estudiados y analizados los resultados, se concluye que la mayoría de estos docentes y alumnado además de tener unas concepciones sesgadas y machistas, las mujeres tuvieron que enfrentarse a retos y dificultades mayores que los hombres.

Adult Education has tried to offer a new opportunity to a large number of people who, for any reason, could not finish their studies in a traditional way. This research deals whith what training teachers have in gender perspective in Adult Education and it especially affects on the role that women played during home confinement due to COVID-19 time, knowing the main aspect focuse oni f these was or there was not an educational gap at the gender level during this period and if this digital division and the lack of social relationships within the same classroom affected on this process. Once the results have been studied and analyzed, we can conclude that most of the affected teachers and students were women and also, there were biased and sexist conceptions and they, women, had to face the most important life challenges and difficulties over men
