De la novela al teatro: aplicaciones didácticas de la adaptación intergenérica

Abstract

El presente trabajo se encuentra dividido en una primera parte, en la que se presenta el marco teórico, y una segunda, en la que se detalla la aplicación práctica de la propuesta educativa planteada en la parte teórica. En el marco teórico, se discute en primer lugar en qué consiste la adaptación interliteraria, cuáles son las características de los géneros narrativos, cuáles son las propias de los teatrales y consideramos casos concretos en los que la adaptación de texto dramático a texto teatral ha resultado exitosa. En segundo lugar, dedicamos un apartado a abordar el concepto de narrativas transmedia o transmediáticas, en qué consiste este fenómeno y cómo lo podemos aplicar al campo educativo. Esto aparecerá posteriormente vinculado a los beneficios que conlleva trabajar desde la dramatización o desde el teatro los contenidos teóricos en el aula. Finalmente, concluimos con una propuesta de Situación de Aprendizaje, es decir, la aplicación desde el punto de vista más práctico de los aspectos discutidos en el marco teórico: cómo podemos trabajar los diferentes tipos de texto en el aula, de qué manera es posible plantear una adaptación (a pequeña escala) con el alumnado y qué beneficios hemos comprobado que se pueden extraer de la mejora de la competencia comunicativa y la gestión emocional a través de la dramatización en el campo educativo, potenciando la creatividad del alumnado y su capacidad cooperativa.

The study is divided in two parts. Firstly, it introduces the theoretical framework. Afterwards, we discuss the application of our discussion as regards the development of communication skills and emotional intelligence with our students, considering drama and the improvement of creativity and dramatical skills as a tool in which we can connect with our emotions, and therefore, reaching out and understanding viewpoints that are not of our own. In the theoretical framework, and after having outlined the current state of the matter, we devote a chapter to the consideration of the ways in which adaptation works as regards literature, specially, when we must deal with narrative and dramatic texts. In the following chapter, we study some of the adaptations that have proved to be a success due to the process that have been followed. We have continued the discussion considering a new concept as regards to user-generated contents and how to deal with news ways of working using the Internet and social media to produce new types of texts, as well as how we can draw the attention of our students managing social media and new technologies in a balanced way. In the following part we advocate for Education in an integral sense because it encompasses all types of intelligence of a person, whilst at the same time stressing the importance of creativity. Finally, in the last part, we have applied in a concrete scenario and context what we have discussed earlier: how can we use drama and theatre to develop emotional intelligence with our students, how can literature and language help in this way, as well as how is it possible to create a good clime, promoting good relationships, creativity, the capacity to collaborate with each other, and the ability to communicate in front of an audience.
