La iconografía de la muerte de don Bosco: un boceto desconocido

Abstract

El presente estudio nace a consecuencia del descubrimiento de un boceto desconocido de Tullio Alemanni para un cuadro de altar que presentaba una elaborada sugerencia, pero una iconografía inusual de don Bosco. Con el objetivo de contextualizar esta representación, reviso las narrativas oficiales de la historiografía de la Congregación Salesiana y la elección de los artistas.

This study began following the discovery of an unpublished sketch by Tullio Alemanni for an alter painting that present an elaborate idea, but an unusual iconography of don Bosco. In the aim of contextualising this representation, I review the official narratives of the historiography of the Salesian Congregation and the selection of the artists.
