La muerte y el duelo en las escuelas en la etapa de Educación Infantil

Abstract

La muerte y el duelo son procesos que forman parte del proceso de la vida y sufrir una pérdida puede marcar la tuya para siempre. Por eso, es necesario que se eliminen los tabúes sobre este tema y se comience a hablar abiertamente y con naturalidad con los niños y niñas desde bien pequeños, especialmente desde el ámbito educativo, para que entiendan que es un proceso natural y eliminen todo tipo de miedos o incertidumbres. A través de este TFG se pretende conocer de qué manera se trabaja el duelo y la muerte en los colegios y escuelas infantiles, de qué manera afecta al alumnado, qué medidas se pueden adoptar y, sobre todo, si el profesorado está capacitado para enfrentarse a este tipo de situaciones dentro del aula.

Death and mourning are part of the process of life and suffer a loss can leave a mark on your own life forever. That's why is required remove the taboos about that and start to speak openly and naturless with the childrens since young age, specially at school, to help them to understand that death is a natural process and remove the fears or doubts. With this project, the intention is knowing the way the schools and daycare centers works mourning and death, the way that process affect to students, think about measures we can adopt and, most of all, see if the faculty is trained to confront this situations in the classrooms.
