La profesionalización de la enseñanza universitaria

Abstract

Es sabido, que en la sociedad de la información de hoy, todo profesional debe estar comprometido en un largo proceso de desarrollo profesional ya que los conocimientos no rinden verdadera eficacia sólo a través de la experiencia. Sin embargo, en el contexto universitario tenemos que enfrentarnos al peso que parece tener ésta en el desarrollo profesional de sus docentes. En este sentido, este artículo pretende reflexionar sobre uno de los tópicos más controvertidos y debatidos en estos últimos años en el contexto universitario: el desarrollo del profesorado universitario en su función docente.

This paper tries to look at one of the move controversial topics within the context of the university: the Professional Development of the Teaching Staff. Nowadays, in the informacional society, every professional should be involved in long term proffessional development as a through knowledge of the subject is not enough, if this canot be put into practice. However within the context of the university the principal believe is, to become a good teacher, you only need to have enough experience. In support of the above thesis, this article seeks to reflect on one of the most controversial topics and debated in these last years in the university environment: The professional development of the professor in its educational function.
