dc.description.abstract | This paper presents an interpretation of David Lodge’s Changing Places and Small World from the perspective of Bakhtin’s theory. The analysis of the two novels revolves around such concepts as grotesque realism, dialogism, and the chronotope. I suggest that the use of these concepts in Changing Places and Small World illustrates some of the controversial points in Bakhtin’s theory. | en_EN |
