La literatura africana francófona en España: estudio cuantitativo a partir de la base de datos BDAFRICA

Abstract

Este artículo pretende por primera vez mostrar datos cuantitativos relativos a la recepción de la literatura africana francófona en España. Dado que no era consultable en ningún repositorio, hemos recurrido a la base de datos bibliográfica BDAFRICA para difundir estos datos inéditos. Se han atendido diferentes aspectos como la evolu-ción en la recepción en un arco temporal de 47 años, el número de obras por país, el porcentaje de autores según género, los autores publicados según género y país, el nú-mero de obras según género y país y el impacto de los diez autores más publicados. Los resultados pretenden servir de base imprescindible a investigaciones académicas e in-formar a los editores que están conformando el canon africano en España.

This article intends for the first time to show quantitative data regarding the reception of French-speaking African literature in Spain. Since it was not searchable in any repository, we have used the BDAFRICA bibliographic database to disseminate these unpublished data. Different aspects have been addressed such as the evolution in reception in a time span of 47 years, the number of works by country, the percentage of authors according to gender, the authors published by gender and country, the num-ber of works by gender and country and the impact of the ten most published authors. The results are intended to serve as an essential basis for academic research and inform the editors who are shaping the African canon in Spain.
