Estudio histórico-religioso de los Druidismos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se expone una teoría en torno a si las diferentes vertientes del Druidismo actual pueden ser definidas como confesión religiosa o, por el contrario, no trascienden el grado de vía filosófica o espiritual. Para ello se realizará un estudio a nivel histórico y religioso de la evolución del celtismo y el Druidismo desde su origen a nuestros días. Se presentará una teoría que responde al principal debate terminológico del tema. Se analizarán las fuentes disponibles. Se establecerá una división tipológica de las diferentes vías existentes en el Druidismo de nuestros días. Se relacionará el Druidismo con otras opciones paganas y con el contexto New Age. Se analizará el caso significativo de la Hermandad Druida Dun Ailline y se entrevistará a uno de sus miembros. Y, por último, se expondrán los principales aspectos del Druidismo en relación a su panteón, ritualidad y simbología.

In the present dissertation, a theory is exposed about whether the different aspects of current Druidism can be exposed as a religious confession or, on the contrary, do not transcend the scope of philosophical or spiritual paths. Therefore, a study will be performed about the evolution of celticism and Druidism from its origin to the present day at a historical and religiouslevel. A theory that acknowledges the main terminological debate on the subject will be presented. The available sources will be analyzed. A typological distribution of the different ways existing in the druidism of our days will be established. Druidism will be related to other pagan disciplines and to the New Age context. The significant instance of the Dun Ailline Druid Brotherhood will be evaluated and one of its members will be interviewed. Finally, the main aspects of Druidism will be exposed in relation to its pantheon, rituality and symbology.
