Reflexiones acerca de la traducción de elementos del «discurso repetido»

Abstract

El recurso al discurso repetido justifica la consideración de una fraseología lato sensu. En- tre las diversas unidades abarcadas en este concepto amplio de fraseología, elegimos para nuestro análisis y reflexiones las construcciones verbonominales (CVN) no idiomáticas (colocaciones) y las idiomáticas (locuciones). Para todos los subgrupos de estas CVN es necesario especificar en su forma citativa el semantismo (mujer, hombre, niño, etc.), el pa- pel semántico y la función sintáctica de las unidades léxicas o fillers que llenan las casillas argumentales del verbo y evocan su significado y su macroestructura semántica sintagmática (MSS), pues solo las CVN (parcialmente) transparentes poseen, además un significado más o menos transparente, también un significado literal y una medioestructura ampliada con un potencial comunicativo que puede dificultar su traslación a otras lenguas no solo en uso lúdico (juegos de palabras).

The use of repeated discourse justifies the consideration of lato sensu phraseology. Among the various units covered by this broad concept of Phraseology, non-idiomatic verbonominal constructions (NVC) (non-idiomatic collocations) and idioms have been chosen for this analysis and reflection. For all the subgroups of these NVCs it is necessary to specify, in their citation form, the semanticity (woman, man, child, etc.), the semantic role and the syntactic function of the lexical units or fillers which fill the argument slots of the verb and evoke both its meaning and its syntagmatic semantic macrostructure (SSM). This is due to the fact that only (partially) transparent NVCs have also a literal meaning and an extended midstructure with a communicative potential that can make their translation into other languages difficult, not only in a playful use (puns).
