This paper attempts a reading of Graham Greene's novel
Monsignor Quixote through a partial rereading of Cervantes' work.
Parallelisms in the structure and plot of both novels are analysed in
order to ascertain the level of parody and intertextuality used by
Greene to reiterate his particular religious and political
'obsessions'.
