2023Abstract
This study analyzes the relationship of the variables Significant work, Person-job fit,
Engagement and Work fatigue, and their interaction with socio-demographic and work
variables. The WAMI scales (adapted by Duarte-Lores et al., 2021) were used to
measure meaningful work, UWES to measure engagement developed by Schaufeli &
Bakker (2003), Skills Subscale - Demands of the Cable and DeRue Perceived
Adjustment Scale. (2002), Fatigue Subscale of the Subjective Mental Workload Scale
by Rolo González, Díaz Cabrera and Hernández-Fernaud (2009) and a Questionnaire
of sociodemographic and labor data. The results obtained show positive and significant
relationships between the variables. Meaningful Work, Job Adjustment and
Engagement. Likewise, it is observed that workers with high levels of adjustment to the
position present higher levels of involvement with their work. However, there are no
differences based on gender and the performance of customer service positions in the
variables analyzed. Nor were significant differences found in people with greater
seniority in the job in engagement and significant work.
