Origen y evolución histórica de algunos conceptos del análisis matemático

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en los or´ıgenes y desarrollo del c´alculo infinitesimal desde las matem´aticas griegas (VI a. C.-V d. C.), incluyendo el m´etodo de exhausción y el m´etodo del descubrimiento de Arqu´ımedes, hasta las decisivas aportaciones de Newton y Leibniz a finales de siglo XVII, pasando por las soluciones propuestas por otros matem´aticos a los problemas de cuadraturas (integraci´on) y tangentes (derivaci´on) en los siglos XVI y XVII.

This work focuses on the origins and development of the infinitesimal calculus from Greek mathematics (VI BC-V AD), including the method of exhaustion and the discovery method of Archimedes, to the decisive contributions made by Newton and Leibniz at the end of the 17th century, going through the solutions proposed by other mathematicians to the problems of quadratures (integration) and tangents (differentiation) in the 16th and 17th centuries.
