Análisis de las dificultades socioeducativas de los menores migrantes no acompañados en Tenerife

Abstract

La llegada de menores migrantes no acompañados a las fronteras europeas continúa siendo un reto para los sistemas de protección y acogida de los países receptores. En el caso de España, las administraciones encargadas de velar por su bienestar se encuentran en un proceso de constante adaptación, ajustando sus procedimientos hacia la mejora en la atención de estos adolescentes. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las dificultades socioeducativas que presenta el colectivo dentro de los centros de residencia, para ello se parte de una revisión bibliográfica en diversas fuentes, cuyo foco principal de estudio es la educación en el contexto de los centros, sus procesos de formación y sus dificultades formativas o de integración dentro de ellos. Tras este proceso de aproximación a la temática se realiza una investigación empírica mediante entrevistas con técnicos y educadores que han trabajado y trabajan con el colectivo seleccionado para la investigación en la isla de Tenerife, en asociaciones como SAMU, Quórum y Mundo nuevo.

The arrival of unaccompanied migrant minors at European borders continues to be a challenge for the protection and reception systems of the receiving countries. In the case of Spain, the administrations in charge of ensuring their well-being are in a process of constant adaptation, adjusting their procedures to improve care for these adolescents. The objective of this research is to analyze the socio-educational difficulties that the group presents within the residence centers, for which it starts from a bibliographic review in various sources, whose main focus of study is education in the context of the centers, their processes of training and their training or integration difficulties within them. After this process of approximation to the subject, an empirical investigation is carried out through interviews with technicians and educators who have worked and work with the group selected for research on the island of Tenerife, in associations such as SAMU, Quórum and Mundo Nuevo.
