Matemáticas en la Universidad. Mathematics at the University

Abstract

En este capítulo se presenta una aproximación hacia la enseñanza de las Matemáticas en el nivel universitario, tomando como referencia algunos resultados obtenidos en el ámbito de la investigación realizada en nuestro país. Se comienza haciendo una UHÁH[LyQLQLFLDOVREUHORVUHVXOWDGRVSULQFLSDOHVREWHQLGRVHQORV~OWLPRV DxRV para continuar con una discusión en torno a la transición desde la Educación SecunGDULDKDVWDOD8QLYHUVLGDG ODVGLÀFXOWDGHVTXHHPHUJHQHQHVHFRQWH[WR UHODFLRQDGDV principalmente con la adaptación de los contenidos y metodología empleadas, y el impacto que deberían tener las tecnologías digitales y la resolución de problemas en la enseñanza de los conocimientos que demanda actualmente la Sociedad. El capítulo ÀQDOL]DPRVWUDQGRDOJXQRVHMHPSORVGHDFWLYLGDGHVSDUDWUDEDMDUFRQFHSWRVPDWHPiticos propios del ámbito universitario, surgidos y adaptados de investigaciones en las que han participado los autores.

This chapter presents an approach for teaching Mathematics at the university level, WDNLQJDVDUHIHUHQFHVRPHUHVXOWVREWDLQHGLQWKHÀHOGRI UHVHDUFKFDUULHGRXWLQRXU FRXQWU\ ,WEHJLQVE\PDNLQJDQLQLWLDOUHÁHFWLRQRQWKHPDLQUHVXOWVREWDLQHGLQWKH last 25 years, and then continues with a discussion on the transition from secondary HGXFDWLRQWRXQLYHUVLW\ WKHGLIÀFXOWLHVWKDWHPHUJHLQWKLVFRQWH[W PDLQO\UHODWHGWR adapting the content and methodology used, and the impact that digital technologies and problem solving should have on teaching the knowledge that society currently demands. The chapter concludes with some examples of activities for practicing mathematical concepts typical of a university environment, resulting and adapted from research in which the authors have participated.
