Turismo rural en México. Una trazabilidad histórica y socioestructural en las ruralidades

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo abordar la contextualización histórica del turismo rural en México, a la luz de los procesos de cambio socio-estructurales y sus manifestaciones territoriales. Para ello se tomó como perspectiva teórica-metodológica la propuesta de Eric Hobsbawm de historia-problema, que centra su interés analítico en la historia de las estructuras y de las transformaciones en las sociedades y las culturas. En las conclusiones se menciona que, si bien varios autores han hecho trazabilidades históricas sobre el despliegue de políticas públicas en nuestro país que impactaron en cuestiones agrarias y turísticas, hace falta acercarse a esas comunidades intervenidas por los programas gubernamentales y dar cuenta de los cambios y modificaciones que se han gestado a raíz de las nuevas dinámicas económicas insertadas en el territorio, que dieron lugar a las Nuevas Ruralidades.

The objective of this article is to address the historical contextualisation of rural tourism in Mexico, within the framework of socio-structural change and its territorial manifestations. Analysis was applied from the theoretical-methodological perspective of problem-history posed by Erik Hobsbawm, who focuses his analytical interest on the history of structures and transformations in societies and cultures. It was concluded that, although several authors have made historical traceability on the deployment of public policies in Mexico, which impacted on agrarian and tourism issues, it is still necessary to focus on the communities where these interventions took place and account for the changes and modifications that have been generated as a result of the new economic dynamics inserted in the territory, which gave rise to the so-called New Ruralities.
