Racismo y xenofobia en España (1975 a 2004)

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una primera aproximación al análisis de dos planteamientos culturales de rechazo a la alteridad, el racismo y la xenofobia. En los primeros capítulos haremos un rápido recorrido por la evolución de la cuestión migratoria en la España contemporánea hasta llegar a los años ochenta cuando aparecerá el racismo como problema social desde la política y la legalidad. En el segundo capítulo, veremos cómo se construye el discurso racista y xenófobo en torno al inmigrante norteafricano los medios de comunicación. Finalmente, en el último capítulo, abordaremos la reproducción de este discurso hacia el “moro” mediante la educación y la enseñanza de la Historia, para profundizar sobre una realidad presente e ignorada en España.

The objective of this work it is a first approach to the analysis cultural of two cultural approaches of rejection of otherness, the racism and the xenophobia. In the first chapters, we will review evolution of the migration issue in the contemporary Spain until arrive to eighties, when the racism appears as a social problem from politics and legality. In the second chapter, we will see how it is built the racist and xenophobic speech around the North African inmigrant in the mass media. Finally, in the last chapter, we will board this speech reproduction to the moor through the education and the teaching of History of Spain to deeper into a present e ignored reality in Spain.
