¿Museos como lugares de fomento de la creatividad? Desde una perspectiva feminista

Abstract

Es indudable que uno de los objetivos fundamentales de cualquier sociedad basada en los derechos humanos, la democracia y Estado de derecho, es la de conseguir una igualdad de género efectiva y real entre mujeres y varones, sin embargo, a pesar de que durante los últimos cincuenta años se han realizado considerables mejoras para reducir las disparidades entre las mujeres y los varones en áreas sociales clave como: la salud y la educación, la desigualdad de género en el curriculum del sistema educativo y las colecciones de los museos, es un fenómeno social y cultural que sigue presentando cierta importancia entre nosotros. Por ello, teniendo como punto de partida mi motivación personal y los referentes artísticos concebidos por el sistema educativo, en este presente trabajo se dan una serie de cuestiones, en relación al desarrollo de una creatividad igualitaria (en el ámbito de las artes) a niños y niñas. Cuestiones las cuales a su vez se plantean en un contexto específico, como son las instituciones de educación no formal (los museos), a partir de una perspectiva feminista y donde se ha recurrido a analizar el discurso de esta institución con diferente público, para comprobar si se fomenta un aprendizaje crítico e igualitario en los y las jóvenes.

There is no doubt that one of the fundamental goals of any society based on human rights, democracy and the rule of law is to achieve real and effective gender equality between women and men. However, despite the fact that considerable improvements have been made over the last fifty years to reduce disparities between women and men in social areas such as health and education, gender inequality in the curriculum of the education system and museum collections is a social and cultural phenomenon that is still of some importance among us. Therefore, taking my personal motivation and the artistic references conceived by the educational system as a starting point, this paper raises a series of questions in relation to the development of equal creativity (in the field of the arts) for boys and girls. These questions are raised in a specific context, such as non-formal educational institutions (museums), from a feminist perspective and where we have resorted to analysing the discourse of this institution with different audiences, in order to check whether critical and egalitarian learning is promoted in young men and women.
