dc.description.abstractEn el abordaje fisioterapéutico, la terapia manual (TM) es comúnmente utilizada y su apli- cación permite al profesional obtener reacciones fisiológicas directas o reflejas que regulan, normalizan y equilibran las diferentes alteraciones osteoarticulares, musculares, funcionales y orgánicas. El abordaje fisioterapéutico puede tener una gran influencia sobre el sistema nervioso autónomo (SNA), mediante el cual los fisioterapeutas pueden modular la actividad SNA y mejorar la función gracias a la aplicación de diferentes técnicas. Estudiar la evidencia tras aplicar terapia manual y su repercusión sobre el sistema nervioso autónomo y visceral. Revisión sistemática de estudios que evidencien la influencia de la terapia manual sobre el SNA. Para la selección de artículos, fue necesario considerar la utilidad y la relevancia del tema estudiado y la credibilidad o experiencia de los autores en la temática. La aplicación de la terapia manual sí influye sobre el SNA.es_ES
dc.description.statementofresponsibilityIn the physiotherapeutic approach, the use of manual therapy (MT) is commonly used and its application allows the professional to obtain direct physiological or reflex reactions that regulate, normalise and balance the different osteoarticular, muscular, functional and organic alterations. The physiotherapeutic approach can have a great influence on the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS), through which physiotherapists can modulate ANS activity and improve function thanks to the application of different techniques. Evaluate the evidence after the application of manual therapy and its impact on the autonomic and visceral nervous system. Systematic review of studies showing the influence of manual therapy on ANS. In selecting the items, the criteria applied included the usefulness and relevance of the subject matter and the credibility or experience of the research study authors. The application of manual therapy does influence the ANS.en
