Merecimiento y relaciones de pareja : el impacto en la mujer

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación quiere comprobar si el ser considerada merecedora del castigo o no y tener una relación estable o inestable influyen en la culpa, responsabilidad, valor personas y deshumanización que le atribuye. Se llevó a cabo un estudio experimental, para comprobar los cambios se manipularon las variables independientes de merecimiento del castigo y la estabilidad de la pareja. Los resultados muestran que la mujer con parejas inestables son percibidas más culpables y menos responsables que la mujer con pareja estable. Respecto al valor personal y la deshumanización: por un lado, en el valor personal la mujer merecedora es percibida con menos valor que la no merecedora; y por otro lado, en la deshumanización encontramos a la mujer merecedora del castigo más deshumanizada que a la no merecedora.

The objective of this research is to determine whether being considered deserving of punishment or not and having a stable or unstable relationship influence the guilt, responsibility, personal value and dehumanization attributed to them. An experimental study was carried out, to verify the changes the independent variables of deservingness of punishment and stability of the couple were manipulated. The results show that women with unstable partners are perceived as more guilty and less responsible than women with stable partners. Regarding personal value and dehumanization: on the one hand, in personal value, the deserving woman is perceived with less value than the undeserving woman; and on the other hand, in dehumanization we find the woman deserving of punishment more dehumanized than the woman who does not deserve punishment.
