Integración laboral de los inmigrantes en España

Abstract

El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es analizar la integración laboral de los inmigrantes en España, destacando cómo diversos factores sociales, demográficos y laborales influyen en este proceso de inserción. Utilizando información de la Encuesta de Población Activa del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, especialmente del Módulo 2021:, se realiza un análisis de datos agregados. De manera concreta, se profundiza en la educación, la satisfacción laboral, las barreras idiomáticas y la discriminación relativas a este grupo poblacional. Los resultados indican que, aunque los inmigrantes tienen alta participación laboral, enfrentan desajustes de cualificaciones y barreras significativas que restringen su integración plena. Se observan diferencias regionales , donde los inmigrantes de Europa y el resto del mundo enfrentan mayores desafíos lingüísticos y de reconocimiento de cualificaciones. El estudio subraya la importancia de mejorar el reconocimiento de títulos extranjeros y abordar las desigualdades laborales para facilitar una mejor integración de los inmigrantes en el entorno laboral español, optimizando su contribución al desarrollo económico del país.

The objective of this Bachelor's Thesis is to analyse the labour integration of immigrants in Spain, highlighting how social, demographic and labour factors influence this insertion. Using data from the Spanish Labour Force Survey of the National Institute of Statistics, particularly from the 2021: Module: Immigrants and their children’s labour situation, a descriptive analysis of aggregated data is provided. This approach examines education, job satisfaction, language barriers, and discrimination related to this collective. The results indicate that, although immigrants have high labour participation, they face qualification mismatches and significant barriers that restrict their full integration. Regional differences are observed, with immigrants from Europe and the rest of the world facing greater linguistic challenges and recognition of qualifications. The study highlights the importance of improving the recognition of foreign qualifications and addressing labour inequalities to facilitate better integration of immigrants into the Spanish labour environment, optimizing their contribution to the country's economic development.
