The objectives of this work are to upgrade and optimize a Python script which generates synthetic light curves of a RL, to test it varying the values of different parameters of the binary, to generate a library with many different light curves and to compare each of them with the data we have of SS Cygni. From the best fits found from that comparison we can estimate some system parameters, such as the inclination.
