Revisión bibliográfica sobre la coordinación de parentalidad. Efectividad y efectos.

Abstract

La figura del coordinador parental nace en EE.UU. en los años 90, constituyéndose como un fenómeno novedoso dentro del sistema judicial. Surge con el objetivo de dar respuesta a una necesidad palpitante debido a que el número de divorcios y/o separaciones iba in crescendo y, por ende, el enquistamiento de los conflictos intraparentales. Como consecuencia se generaba una ralentización de las resoluciones judiciales, un aumento de querellas y, con mayor énfasis, perpetuaban el sufrimiento de los menores insertos en las unidades familiares litigantes. En España, esta práctica comienza a hacerse notoria en el año 2011, no siendo hasta el 2012 cuando se solicita por primera vez a nivel judicial la intervención de esta figura. Después de más de diez años en emergencia continúa existiendo una visión difusa sobre dicha práctica. Motivo por el que surge esta revisión, para ofrecer claridad a través del análisis de la eficacia de esta figura dentro del contexto judicial, así como de los retos a los que hace frente.

The figure of the parental coordinator was born in the US in the 90s, becoming a new phenomenon within the judicial system. It arose with the objective of responding to a palpitating need due to the fact that the number of divorces and/or separations was increasing and, therefore, the entrenchment of intraparental conflicts. As a consequence, a slowdown in judicial resolutions was generated, an increase in complaints and, with greater emphasis, perpetuated the suffering of minors inserted in litigating family units. In Spain, this practice began to become notorious in 2011, and it was not until 2012 that the intervention of this figure was requested for the first time at the judicial level. After more than ten years in emergency, there continues to be a diffuse vision of this practice. Reason why this review arises, to offer clarity through the analysis of the effectiveness of this figure within the judicial context, as well as the challenges it faces.
