dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a teaching tool for modeling and control of dynamical systems using the project-based learning approach. This approach allows engineering and basic science students, develop skills in programming, electronic design, using fundamental physics to model and control complex dynamic systems. The tool consists of a code generator that automatically writes a program for the Arduino board in order to obtain the mathematical model of the dynamic system from experimental data and implement a suitable controller. This tool was tested in the course of Identification and simulation of Systems, of the Universidad del Cauca, proving to be a quick and easy tool for students learning program in Industrial Automation Engineering.es_ES
