La pandemia en la educación infantil: Una oportunidad para desarrollar la Competencia Digital en los agentes educativos

Abstract

La pandemia de la COVID-19 ha supuesto un cambio en las prácticas profesionales de los agentes que conforman los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje en educación infantil. El principal objetivo que persigue este trabajo es comprobar si el desarrollo de la competencia digital se ha visto afectado como consecuencia a la situación actual. Para ello se ha realizado un estudio exploratorio de carácter cualitativo a través de la técnica de entrevista grupal, con un total de 18 maestras participantes. Los resultados muestran que la mayoría de las maestras consideran que la situación actual les ha hecho replantearse su nivel de competencia digital. De igual modo, e el profesorado en cuanto al desarrollo de las diferentes áreas que conforman el Marco Común de la Competencia Digital Docente, así como la importancia de las familias en el desarrollo de la competencia digital del alumnado.

The COVID-19 pandemic has meant a change in the professional practices of the agents that make up the teaching-learning processes in Early Childhood Education. The main objective of this work is to test whether the development of digital competence has been affected as a consequence of the current situation we are living. For this purpose, a qualitative exploratory study has been carried out through the group interview technique, with a total of 18 participating teachers. The results reveal that most of the teachers consider that the current situation has made them rethink their level of digital competence. Similarly, there is a very interesting reflection on the difference between the terms "digital native" and "digitally competent". In conclusion, the need for training expressed by teachers in the development of the different areas that make up the Common Framework for Digital Competence in Teaching is highlighted, as well as the importance of families in the development of students' digital competence.
