Desarrollo de la competencia socioafectiva en matemáticas: una propuesta de innovación

Abstract

En este trabajo de fin de grado se presenta una propuesta de innovación cuyo objetivo es desarrollar es atender a las emociones del alumnado de Educación Primaria durante la realización de actividades de matemáticas. La propuesta está dirigida a estudiantes de 3º de Educación Primaria y consiste en un conjunto de actividades de comparación de superficies y comparación de fracciones, empleando material manipulativo. Al finalizar cada actividad, los estudiantes tendrán que indicar qué emoción han sentido durante su realización. Esto nos permitirá identificar el tipo de actividades que generan unas emociones mayormente positivas en el alumnado, y aquellas que dan lugar a emociones negativas y si, en algún caso, esto tiene que ver con la dificultad de dichas actividades. Todo ello con el propósito de tener una mayor comprensión sobre las emociones del alumnado y así poder conocer qué actividades priorizar en las propuestas didácticas.

An innovation project is proposed with students taking the Mathematics subject in Primary Education with the objective of analyzing the emotional response of students to different mathematical activities. A series of activities involving geometry and rational numbers are proposed, which must be carried out with manipulative materials. Once completed, the students will be responsible for representing the emotion they felt during the execution of the exercise. Consequently, the aim is also to identify the types of activities that generate mostly positive emotions in the students, those that lead to negative emotions, and whether, in some cases, this is related to the difficulty of the exercises. All of this is with the purpose of gaining a greater emotional understanding of the students and thus being able to know which activities to prioritize in didactic proposals.
