This paper presents a decision support system tailored for a nut and dried fruit company located in the Canary Islands, Spain. Its
prirnary objective is to enhance production planning by harnessing advanced optirnization methods. The inception of the system
is driven by the critica] need to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and quickly adjust to the constantly shifting needs of the market
demands and supply chain variables. By incorporating optimization techniques directly into the system, it tackles the complexities
of making real-time, .informed decisions within a challenging, constrained production landscape. The computational experiments
demonstrate the optimization technique's remarkable efficiency in addressing both synthet.ic and real-world scenarios. Furthermore,
the system boasts a user-friendly web interface for visualizing results, empowering managers to make well-informed production
planning decisions.
