En el presente trabajo exponemos el estado de la cuestión sobre la polémica, todavía no resuelta, en torno a la autenticidad del índice y los títulos de los capítulos de las Compositiones de Escribonio Largo. Asimismo, prestaremos atención a la numeración que organiza el texto y su relación con las entradas del índice, también puestos en entredicho por algunos de los estudiosos y editores de esta obra.
His paper offers an updated revision of the controversy, still unresolved, that revolves around the authenticity of the index and the titles of the chapters in Scribonius Largus Compositiones. Special attention will be also paid to the numbering in the text and its correlation with the entries in the index, something that is called into question as well by some of the scholars and editors of this work.
