Tendencias literarias en la historiografía de la guerra de Pirro con Roma

Abstract

En el presente artículo se analizan los rasgos literarios que presenta la tradición historiográfica sobre la guerra de Pirro con Roma. A pesar del carácter fragmentario de la mayoría de los textos, se observa en la narración una interpretación herodotea de los acontecimientos, cuyo origen parece situarse en la primitiva tradición literaria romana.

This study analyses the literary trends of the Ancient Historiography about Pyrrhus’ war with Rome. Despite their fragmentary character, the narrative presents a Herodotean interpretation of the events. The origin of this interpretation of the war seems to be located in the first steps of Roman literature.
