El uso del habla privada en la infancia: una revisión integradora

Abstract

El estudio del habla privada constituye un campo de investigación floreciente, no obstante, se han desarrollado escasas revisiones que aglutinen los diferentes estudios. El objetivo de esta revisión es estudiar esos tipos de tareas desde una perspectiva integradora analizada en diferentes contextos educativos. Para poder llevar a cabo la investigación, se ha realizado una revisión sistemática de artículos científicos consultando las bases de datos Pubmed, Scopus o Dialnet, en los últimos cinco años, en los idiomas español e inglés. En concreto, se ha desarrollado el método PRISMA, estableciendo los siguientes criterios de inclusión: estudios de habla privada en niños de 3 a 12 años de desarrollo típico. Como resultado se seleccionaron 9 artículos. Los estudios de habla privada en niños han permitido determinar la variedad de tareas que existen, la importancia a estas edades de la emergencia del habla y la relación que hay no solo entre la edad y el habla privada sino también en el uso o dificultad de la tarea a realizar.

The study of private speech is a flourishing field of research, however, few reviews have been developed that agglutinate the different studies. The objective of this review is to study these types of tasks from an integrative perspective analyzed in different educational contexts. In order to carry out the research, a systematic review of scientific articles has been carried out by consulting the Pubmed, Scopus or Dialnet databases, in the last five years, in the Spanish and English languages. Specifically, the PRISMA method has been developed, establishing the following inclusion criteria: private speech studies in children from 3 to 12 years of typical development. As a result, 9 articles were selected. The studies of private speech in children have allowed to determine the variety of tasks that exist, the importance at these ages of the emergence of speech and the relationship that there is not only between age and private speech but also in the use or difficulty of the task to be done.
