AB Mediation has so far been a little explored resource, even less if we considerchildren’s’ participation in it. This study aims to explore how children perceive mediation as astrategy to solve their conflicts both in the family and in the school, and how they act withrespect to it. We explored attitudes and perceptions from 342 students attending differenteducational centers of Tenerife Island, from the 6th grade of primary school and the 2nd ofthe secondary studies. The results show that some personal characteristics such as age,gender, family typology or the characteristics of the center to which the children go, arelinked to the way in which they resolve their conflicts at school and at home. Likewise, it is acertain transfer in the way the children solve their conflicts between the differentdevelopmental contexts, school and family.
