AB The objective of this exploratory investigation is to know the influence of the urbandesign in the criminal commission and the possible improvement of the insecurity'sperception when modifying certain area's characteristics.In order to solve these unknowns the study is based on different theories that recognizethe urban morphology as one of the determinant factors for the prevention of crime. Thisproject is focused on San Matías neighborhood from Taco (Tenerife), for being perceived asone of the most insecure places, opinion which I try to contrast with the objective realitythrough a deep interview to different actors who know the place.
