K1 Aprendizaje cooperativo K1 Innovación educativa K1 Enseñanza secundaria AB The schools and the educational system, are the reflection of society to wich they belong,and keeping in mind that this is a structure in the process of continuous change, it is notalways easy to adapt the school to these changes. In front of traditional teaching-learningmethodology, based in expository classes, there are others educative methodologies basedin team work, to promote students to acquiera interpersonal skills, autonomy, ability tosolve problems cooperatively, take an active role in class and the students were motivatedand involver in the learning process. Based on it, the main purpose of this research iscreating a pedagogic innovation proposal based in the cooperative learning, to apply itand to assess the effectiveness of cooperative methodology against the traditional method.Were used on a sample of 28 students in a Economic subject of the at a Spanish publichigh school. The results are presented as mean±variance and p-value. The results obtainedshow that the students learn better in classes which cooperative learning is applied (26,27± 3,09 ± 29,00 ± 2,843, p= 0,001), improves the motivation and commitment of studentsto the learning process (35,23 ± 3,10 vs 38,62 ± 3,58, p = 0.001), encourages interactionsamong students (19,73 ± 2,31vs 21,35 ± 2,84, p = 0,003) and generates more activelearing by students (29,96 ± 3,46 vs 33,46 ± 3,91, p = 0,001). We therefore fully endorsefostering its use in the classroom.
