To this end, aquestionnaire has been prepared that includes five dimensions that affect and influencethe decision to extend its educational stage, with the sample of this study being 104students from the 1st year of Bachillerato in the municipality of Los Realejos.Among the results obtained, the following stand out: family members have beenthe agents that have most influenced the decision to choose to complete the first year ofhigh school; the students take a bachelor's degree because it will allow them to developa university study; to attend this educational stage arises because of the concern for thefuture; and, they are unhappy with the teaching methodology used. This research showsthe formative demands that students face when completing the baccalaureateeducational stage, so it is convenient to develop new educational methodologies.
