AB The 21st century has brought with it the digital age and whole flood of new informationand communication technologies, that, in some way, have become ubiquitousinstruments at schools. However, the presence of innovative implements in theeducational sphere does not seem to have ed (at least in this momento) to ICT didactics.The Social Sciences field has not been oblivious to the arrival of digital learningresources, but the teaching of Canary Island History has been. Media repositories ownto web 1.0 continue to abound, with digitalizes resources that have not been completelyvirtualized. There is a shortage of resources with didactic nature, many times they havebeen generated without a pedagogical perspective and they have been poorly adapted tothe requirements demanded by web 2.0 and also by the present education. It is necesaryto carry out a thoughtfull catalogue where resources and digital environment that favorboth that teaching process and the learning of the Canary Island History are included.These digital learning resources must fulfill the didactic this subject demands.
