K1 Geografía-Enseñanza K1 Educación secundaria AB An exploration voyage is a proposal of teaching-learning of Geography insecondary school that reproduces in the classroom one of the most outstandingprocesses of society, the voyage. These constitute an educational resource of greatsocial value, providing the traveler with an inexhaustible source of knowledge, skillsand geographical skills. This method develops a series of precepts that imitate thecomponents of a virtual exploration voyage through simulation (planning, preparation,journey, exploration and scientific dissemination of the results). Each of thesecomponents is attributed a series of activities, skills and abilities that allow students todevelop autonomously in the classroom and in society, by adapting and insertingdifferent geographic postulates (such as systemic, ecological, environmental orautomated) and several traditional and modern educational strategies (such as theconstructivist strategy of meaningful learning through discovery, gamification andproblem-based learning).
