K1 Educación-Filosofía K1 Teoría de la educación AB The purpose of this study is to identify the ideological element involved ineducation and how to achieve, under this capitalist society, an education for maturity andresponsibility. To this end, we analyse the fundamental insights of Adorno and Habermas, aswell as different pedagogues, based on the concepts of maturity and responsibility, historicalconsciousness, dialogue and discourse ethics. As a result of this process of reflection, there isa classroom-based educational intervention proposal, a debate to enhance the students’maturity and responsibility, as well as to bring dialogue into schools. In addition, the dialoguebetween the students is promoted, but also between the teacher and the students. In this way,it can be useful when it comes to foster the student’s critical thinking skills.
