K1 Canarias K1 Historia K1 Geografía K1 Arqueología K1 Enseñanza secundaria AB Actually, Archeology and Archaeological Heritage represent a great attraction forteachers in order to complement theoretical classes, especially in History subject, withfield trips and practical activities. However, the presence of Archeology in curriculardesigns is excessively discreet and little used. In this work a brief reflection on thecurrent state of the relationship between archeology and education has been made. Inaddition, an educational proposal that uses a concrete archaeological site has beendeveloped, using the site of Bencomo Street, in San Cristobal de La Laguna (Tenerife),as a didactic resource to develop objectives, contents and competences, present in thecurriculum of the subject of free configuration "Geography and History of the CanaryIslands", 4rd of ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education).
