AB This research has as its main aim to show the potential of YouTube videos forEnglish language teaching, in a moment where teenagers have grown up with socialnetworks like Facebook, Twitter or YouTube itself. In order to do this research, adeductive method has been used, aiming at starting from the general to the mostconcrete cases, from the foreign language legislation to the classrooms. Thanks to thisresearch, it is proved how beneficial the inclusion of YouTube videos in the classdynamics can be, giving place to a better listening comprehension and a higherknowledge about other countries’ cultures. To conclude, YouTube videos let studentsapproach a more realistic English and the aforementioned knowledge about othercultures, among others
