AB This paper attempts to analyze the behavior of the Celtic woman in one of theactivities traditionally developed by men in the Greek and Roman worlds: cult andreligion. In order to carry out this study, we have resorted to the Celtic tradition aswell as to the sources supplied by two classical historians, Caesar, Tacitus and theHistoria Augusta. We have tried to update their texts by confronting them todocumentary evidence on Celtic history
