AB In this article the author means to display all the profane and biblicalmeanings of a word as significant as 'caelum' in the Latin Vulgate. He stu¬dies also some expressions of Hebrew origin, where caelum appears and thatwe can see today in all the Romance languages. At the same time, hier it'spossible to follow the evolution of the 'heaven ' notion from Old to NewTestament.
