AB Medieval Judaism maintained a relationship with knowledge and science that cannot beunderstood without a revision and identification of its particularities. The link betweenthe moral and the physical dimensions, as born in biblical texts, justifies until today theneed to deepen the understanding of the real, always from the human being itself and itsmany faculties. Medieval Jewish science does not lag behind any other, but contributes andactively participates in the creation and diffusion processes. It even has its own myths. Thepractice of what we now call art also adheres to this corpus of wisdom in Judaism, as is thecase of the book, which disseminates and materializes this knowledge.
