AB Several reports confirm that the English level of Spanish citizens in recent years is constantlydeteriorating. Taking this into account, the central objective of this innovation project is toimprove the level of communicative competence of primary education children in English, sinceSpain is currently below the average according to the level of English in other Europeancountries. In order to achieve this improvement, we propose to work on communicativecompetence including music and theatre in the teaching of the English language, since numerousresearches show that they have a positive effect on foreign language learning. Furthermore, theimportance of the motivation of the students is taken into account and activities are proposed tostrengthen it.
