AB On this theoretical revision we make an analysis of different investigations that combineMedia Education, audio-visual media and technology, as well as definitions of key wordsfor the work. We have observed the importance that technology has to work with mediain the classrooms and the relevance that the development of the media competence hasgot in our students, in a moment of unstoppable news reporting. To develop thiscompetence, we can transform our students in consumers and producers of audio-visualmessages. With this work we want to offer the teachers a theoretical basis to incorporateaudio-visual news as a didactic resource in Primary Education.
