AB The objective of this work is to analyze the EU and Japan's EconomicPartnership Agreement entered into force on 1 February 2019 from a legalpoint of view through a study of it and the different provisions and subjectsthat are contemplated in it, as well as the various receptions that it hasgenerated worldwide and its repercussion in the field of internationalcommercial relations.In addition, this work also aims to study a legal figure that today is leadingthe majority of trade relations between the European Union and thirdcountries, and that has even come to be considered, due to its broad scope,as a viable alternative for the development of future relations between theUnited Kingdom and the EU after Brexit: These are the new generation freetrade agreements
