AB The present work undertakes the study of the patrimonial responsibility of thePublic Administration for damages caused to the people derived from theoperation of public health services, establishing the specific requirements thatthe subject presents, taking into account both its normative evolution and itsjurisprudential development.Subsequently, the procedure foreseen for claiming the responsibility ofthe health administration, the characteristics that qualify it as a specialadministrative procedure and, finally, the competent jurisdictional bodiesfor the knowledge and resolution of such patrimonial liability claims areindicated.As the aforementioned aspects arise, it will be evident, on the one hand,the rise of sanitary claims that are currently filed against the PublicAdministration and, on the other, the lack of regulatory regulation thatpresents the matter and the problem that this produces, which causes thatthe scope of health responsibility is characterized by being ambiguous andcomplex.
