AB The Land Registry graphical representations offer numerous advantages which allowthe knowledge of information that could not be introduced into the Land Registry beforethe adoption of the Law 13/2015, approved on June the 24th, which modified theMortgage Law. The main function of this technique is to complete the traditionalliterary description of a piece of land which is stated on the Land Registry page, but itsinterest lies in the fact that these graphical representations could define boundaries.With the aim of solving this question, firstly I will analyze the concept of "landdemarcation", which I consider is elementary to establish the basis of this study. Insecond place, this work will mention some of the new technologies that can facilitatethe representation of boundaries. After this, is necessary to study the differentoperations which allow the incorporation of the information to the Land Registry page,such as the graphical translation of the literary description or the validation. Finally, it isconvenient to examine the effects developed by the Land Registry inscription anddetermine if its consequences would be equivalent to a procedure of land demarcation.
