In the Canary Islands, in 2016, there were9,404 reports of gender violence. From 2003 to 2016 there were 54 victims of sexistviolence. These are clear indicators of the great scope of behavior linked to genderviolence in our country, therefore, adolescents, in full personality formation, need to betrained and given tools about this issue so that they do not continue to perpetuate thisviolence. Under the umbrella of love, certain attitudes are still justified among couples ofadolescents linked to gender violence who seek to dominate women. The last form thatthis violence has taken is cyberbullying due to gender in which it seeks to reproducegender inequality through technological means. This can manifest in hostile behavior, attacks on reputation, damage to privacy through comments, invention of stories, creationof false profiles, impersonation of the personality, labeling of photos, insults, threats, blackmail, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to teach young people to use social networks inan appropriate manner, without reproducing behaviors or mentalities associated withgender violence.
